Warehouse & Storage
Wm Armstrong offers Warehousing Space of up to 100,000 square feet in the Carlisle and South & Central Scotland areas through our depots at Longtown, Carlisle and Uddingston, Glasgow with additional secure external storage as required.

As a member of the Palletforce Network, we have access to Storage Facilities at various locations throughout the UK including Caithness, Burton-on-Trent, Preston, Bristol and Kings Lynn.

Transporting Hazardous/ADR Goods
Wm Armstrong have extensive experience in many areas of transport, and are able to offer customers specialist haulage services including the safe transportation of hazardous/ADR goods. We can offer new and existing customers a Nationwide Next Day and Economy service for the distribution of hazardous and ADR packaged goods from a quarter pallet to full loads.

All of our drivers and staff are trained to ensure that goods are handled and stored safely and that the correct procedure is followed for each customer's products.

SPECIALIST SERVICES
Livestock Haulage
We have been at the forefront of the humane livestock transportation for 94 years and now operate throughout the UK, transporting up to two million animals a year.
Our vehicles and trailers are specially designed to allow for the resting of animals with on-board watering and feedings systems to ensure that the animals are kept in peak condition.
We believe that vehicles used for livestock transportation should be licensed to ensure that they comply with set standards and are keen to promote NVQ levels of training for drivers.

​Milk Haulage
Wm Armstrong collect milk from farms 365 days a year, and deliver finished products to various customers within the food industry.
Our Milk Haulage customers include Meadow Foods, for whom we have dedicated Meadow Foods Milk Tankers. All goods carried by us are done so under RHA terms and condition.
