Milk Haulage has been at the core of our activities for more than 90 years

 

During that time we have developed extensive specialist knowledge and experience in Milk Distribution.

 

Our Tankers are among the most modern in Europe. They are equipped with the latest on-board computerised measuring and automatic sampling equipment from 15,000 litre to 30,000 litre capacity, use sophisticated pumping equipment and have steering axles for easy farm access.

 

Wm Armstrong Ltd are members of DTAS (The Dairy Transport Assurance Scheme) which provides assurance to Milk Purchasers that the transport of Raw Milk and Milk Fractions meets UK Food Safety Requirements, as well as industry good practice and customer needs.

DTAS inspects our Milk Haulage Depots annually using 56 standards covering Haulage Operations, Vehicle Hygiene, Site Requirements, Personnel and Training, Subcontractor and Contingency Procedures. DTAS is administered by Dairy UK.

Transporting Milk Every Day of the Year

Wm Armstrong collect milk from farms 365 days a year, and deliver finished products to various customers within the food industry.

 

Our Milk Haulage customers include Meadow Foods, for whom we have dedicated Meadow Foods Milk Tankers. All goods carried by us are done so under RHA terms and condition which you can read here.
