Fundraising News

Moira Fisher from Hospice At Home Carlisle and North Lakeland visited our Longtown depot earlier in March to be presented with a cheque for 1,385 which was raised during our last two charity events in September and December 2013. Thanks to all who contributed.

Total Warrior Lake District 2014

Six brave souls from our Longtown Depot and Cumbria Truck Centre are taking part in this year's Total Warrior event in August to raise funds for Hospice At Home Carlisle and North Lakeland. They will be aiming to complete a gruelling 10K course with obstacles such as the Human BBQ, the Shocker and the refreshing Sheep Dip.

The Talented Mr Brisco

Wm Armstrong is sponsoring this event on Sunday 30th March 2014 at Longtown Community Centre. This fascinating talk presented by Andy Prada of The Durand Group tells the story of Carlisle man Richard Brisco and his time spent on the Western Front in France in 1914. The talk will be followed by a Pie and Pea Supper and Raffle. Tickets are available from our Main Reception.
